Now, once the nut is loose, attach your
steering wheel puller to the wheel as in the first Picture. There should be two
larger holes in the wheel to attach it too. (Not the three you used for the horn
button screws) And once its attached just turn in the center bolt and the wheel
should slide off the shaft as in Picture 9. Once the wheel breaks loose. Take the main steering
wheel nut off and then pull the wheel off, as if Picture
10.
That covers the wheel removal, now if you need
you can take the rest off and check connections and things under the wheel. Now
you will need to pry off the dust cover as in Pictures 11
and 12. It will pop right
off if you pry the edges.

Once the dust cover is off,
Picture 13, you have the only
real hard part left. You need to pop off the snap ring around the shaft. Notice in
Pictures 14, 15 and 16. I used a Awl to start the ring out, then I used a flat tip
to work it around. (Be careful, once the ring comes out,
There is a strong spring behind the plate, holding tension on the assembly, it
will pop out a little.)
