My Project Jeep

Welcome to my Project Jeep

Basics : 1990 Jeep Cherokee Sport

4.5" Lift , 33" Tires, Eagle 589 Rims

I hope everyone will find some useful information here. I tried to get things all organized for easy browsing. If there isn't a link, that means I am working on it. (could be a while, LOL)

I hope to have more stuff on here sooner or later. With some good action photos of the latest fun in the mud.

Well, enjoy everyone.

4.25.07 Project JeepXJ - Update

The old Jeep XJ is getting older and older. I really need to do some work. Current issues include an Idling issue, Track bar seems to be popping a little on hard turns, Front Tires are about bald.

The next major thing is to fix the rusted out floor on the drivers side. After someone ran a stop sign and hit the drivers side door, it cracked the floor and now the rust took no time at all to multiply fast.

7.30.2004 Project JeepXJ - Update

Time for another Jeep XJ update. So far there really isn't much new. I am pretty much going to school full time. And that takes a lot of my money. But, there are a few little things I hope to get done. If I have time. I will post up some pictures and stuff for you guys.

5.08.2004 Project JeepXJ - Update

Well, now that I am out of school till summer semester. I have some time to do updates. So, look for my Class III Hitch install, RE Track bar install, some mudding galleries, and a few other things.

Blow-by update : well, so far the latest fix works pretty good. But, there was a little pressure build up. Which actually went away finally. Must have had a blocked oil return passage. Not no more. But I am planning a serious upgrade to the PCV system. I am going to bore out  the PVC breather holes in the Valve cover to 1.25". which would let me use all the small block Chevy breather valves and stuff. Looks to be a good addition. Look for it in the next few weeks.

3.12.2004 Project Jeep XJ - Oil blow-by fix

After messing with my blow-by numerous times. I think I have a fix. Well, it seems to work wonderful for me. I just added a breather on the front of the valve cover instead of the hose going to the air cleaner.
